I was emailed 5-2-2012 about a loan that I was supposed have taken out in 2008, (which I didn't). I was told in the email that I was the prime suspect in a case, and that I would be arrested if I didn't pay the amount due. I called the number, and the person sounded legit, had all of my personal info, down to my drivers license number. They threatend to have me arrested if I didn't pay the bill that day, and with 2 children at home, I didn't want to go to jail. Even though I knew I didn't take out a loan, I thought I should pay it anyway, in case someone out there stole my ID, and I didn't feel that it had to go any further if I just paid it. I found out today, 5-3-2012, that these ppl were in fact scam artist.
