Please notice the recent complaint i filed against a company who tried to scam me for my deposit and try to talk me into performing a Felony of performing work without a permit.

Dear Rob and to all those concerned,

I am the owner of Florida Pool Heating and we do indeed sell Solar Hot water Systems. All of these sales are by licensed, permitted and installed through our sister county Advance Solar. This is easily verifiable. We have worked for years in this manner and never an incident nor complaint until this.

The $ 100.00 deposit taken on May 20 2011 was to go toward a pool heating system and DHW as a combined project The pool end to be performed by Florida Pool Heating and the DHW by our sister company. Rob requested an installation for July 5 2011 and then postponed sometime between the 5th and then the 19th of July. It was then on the 15th that the job was " postponed to cancelled.

Per Kevin, Who happens to be my brother, the customer requested that the permit fees, ( which are clearly in the contract all be billed separately), The customer asked they be included and then is when the job was " cancelled "

The deposit refund check was cut and was left here in my office as it was our belief you wanted to come and pick it up.

This will be destroyed and a new one sent today or if you still prefer can be picked up.

Regarding the cell phone constant hangups, well Kevin has no recollection of this and having a real office with over a dozen office phone lines we have no record of your calls nor requests for a refund. Perhaps it was as simple as a cell phone connection problem.

On 5-20-2011 I met with Kevin Olmezer CPC057238 about installing a solar hot water heater on my home. He gave me a price (attached) and took a $100 deposit. When it was time to schedule the installation, he said that they were not pulling a permit because “it was not required” I verified the license and he, nor the company are licensed to pull such a permit. I cancelled the job, asked for my money back. He would not refund the money and kept hanging up on me when I called his cell phone.
