I used to have a VISA Prepaid debit card called ICE CARD through West Suburban Bank. It was wonderful and you could manage your account on line and evrything was exactly as it was presented. We were informed that it would no longer be a VISA through West Suburban and was converting to a prepaid MASTERCARD ICE CARD through M.B. Financial Bank. Once this occurred, I was unable and still am unable to manage my account or even access it on line or on the phone. There is no way to reach a real person and when you call they deduct the price of the call from your account as they simply give you your balance via a mechanized voice and then disconnect you. There is no one to help, no one to answer inquiries and no way to access your balance unless you call on a daily basis - which you get charged for once you have called the first time. There have been various amounts deducted from my account and the balances don't match what I show from my receipts from vendors and I have no way to find out what the charges are or who they are from. Can anyone help me? I have emailed M.B. Financial Bank and have not heard from them - even though they supposedly are the institution backing this card since it converted to MASTERCARD.

- I used to have that card too and loved it. then they switched it to a mastercard without any explanation of why or how it would affect me. I just tried to pay 2 credit cards 2x with it. had to call several the the check cashing place to get the routing numbers because now apparently you can't pay bills with it.? I'm at a loss. I get really put off when they mess with my credit.

- Yes!! Everything the 1st poster wrote us right on. She took the words right out of my mouth! The same sloppiness is happening with me since ICE switched to MasterCard. I just saw a charge in my online account today for hundreds of dollars. I NEED to talk to a human but everythings automated. I'm getting rid of this card. I advise anyone to get some other prepaid card instead of this.
