A young boy came to my door sellng magazine subscriptions to help out underprivileged kids (him!). I was sympathetic and purchased $75.00 worth to be donated to St. Judes Hospital. When my next bank statement arrived I discovered that prior to cashing my check someone in their Chicago office had altered the check to read $175.00!
I have contacted the main office of Hand Up Distribution but have recieved no response.
You can bet I'll never help out one of those poor kid salesmen again.
