I received a call from an Indian with a very heavy accent that said his name was Kevin. He told me that I owed a debt collector and that if I didnt pay the sheriff would be at my door in the morning. I asked him who was the debt collected he refused to tell me. I really couldnt understand much of what he was saying but I told him that they would have to notify me before pressing any charges and I do not have any payday loans anyway. After I said telling him my rights as a consumer he hung up on me. I tried to call him back several times but he did not answer so I left a message on his answering machine telling him not to notify me over the phone if his client needs to communicate with me they need to do it through certified mail. I wish these people get a real job and stop trying to scam people out of money.
