Took our camper to fix A/C. Told it was shot! They replaced it with a bigger one. Took it home and it wouldn't work. Take it back it worked, they told us it was our cord, they didn't check our cord. We buy new cord, still won't come on, we had to leave for our 9 day trip, very upset and praying it will work when we get to campground! It came on after a few tries. This was Friday July 29th when we left, it stopped again on July 31st. Called them on August 1st, spoke with Peggy Butler, she said they didn't have a mobile service, so we call Dan's mobile r.v. service, he comes out on Tuesday August 2nd, looks at it and says it is a blessing that it stopped, it has grounded and fried the wires and sparking, ready to catch fire. Now we have no power to the camper and have to use battery, food starts going bad, we had to sleep with fans and cool rags at night. Our family was put in harms way, sitting ducks for a fire. He comes back Thursday evening and fixes it, says we never needed a new A/C. Fixes problem $205.00 total. Dixie just wanted to sale a A/C that cost $1,180. Wow what a difference in price. When we told Dixie everything he said, they tried to say it was a power surge, call your insurance. When I get home, I go to Dennis Dalheim general manager, I explained to him and, he said how would they know this, what can I do to make it right, and he was sorry! They paid the lesser bill for the mobile service, but wouldn't even meet us half -way and refund half the money! I asked him how would you like your family to of been in harms way, from Dixie not rechecking why it wouldn't work and just saying it was our cord! Our cord was checked and is good. He told me now you are going to spread our name to the public for this and, I said yes, My family was sitting ducks for fire, you bet.
