They send out texts telling you there is an alert. They use a text name that refers to a 1st Credit Union in Gainesville, Florida and the text says to call "305 485 2192", which is obviously not a Gainesville number. I called out of curiousity and there is an automated system that you cannot circumvent using the normal method of pressing 0 for operator. The message says that if I am calling this number, my debit card has been frozen and I need to enter my card number to correct the problem. Humorously, I do not have an account with first credit union of gainesville.
