This man who called himself Adpage in OurTime.com called himself Richard Fletcher, a 64 widowed architect who lived in Raleigh, NC. Said he was born in the Netherlands and moved from Limburg to UK when he was 25. Father was in the armed forces and moved around with his family - said to have lived in Canada, Spain and UK. His daughter was supposed to be a student in UK working on a project in her last year of nursing school. Wife died of a pulmonary embolism. This man is a pro, well educated, poised and with great verbal skills. Chatting and emailing went on for three weeks. The photos he used were of an extraordinarily good looking man appearing to be same age he claimed to be. Wanted to marry me and relocate to Florida. Put his 23 year old"daughter" , Phyllis on the phone to
talk to me the night before she was supposed to go back to UK. She had a lovey British accent. The late wife was supposed to be from Mexico. He chatted to me in perfect Spanish- assume using Instant Translator. Debonaire and enchanting. Until I took one of his letters and Googled it. Identical letters popped up on Scamwarners.com. He was supposed to go to Malaysia to bid on a shopping center a $5.5 million contract. He called me the supposed day of his arrival to tell me he had a terrible problem, that his credit cards did not work in Malaysia. I didn't give him time to ask me for $$$ - immediately told him that it was a problem he would have to handle himself and hung up. He's been texting me to tell me he really fell for me. Of course, I haven't answered any of his texts. This Richard Fletcher also called himself Taylor Chadwick in the report I read in Scamwarners.com.
