Clean cut, well dressed high school aged kid came to my door explaining how he was part of a Public Speaking course and practicing by going door-to-door selling magazines to earn enough points for a trip. I'm a parent, so I decided why not? Besides, who scams people door-to-door these days? Anyways, wife was UN-thrilled to say the least so I filled out the cancellation cards and stuck them in the mailbox. This was the Saturday before Easter, so they went out in the mail the Monday after. The checks cleared on the 12th and as of today (May 24th), I have yet to recieve my refund. I started looking around online this morning for a phone number and started running into everyone elses complaints. Wanted to add my story in case it helps out.
