I purchased their software based on their claim on their website that:
"Welcome to iPhoneUnlockEasily.com! We offer the #1 iPhone Unlocking Solution and can help to jailbreak and unlock any iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4 and iPhone 4S!"
When I attempted to run the software, it did not work. I reported this to the company and was told in an e-mail that:
"Software unlocks are not available for the 4s any more unfortunately. We are working on a hardware solution that is working really well. Super easy to use and no jailbreak required!!!
It will unfortunately be an extra $20 to cover shipping and the cost of the chip. Our cost price is higher than $20 per pc and we are making a loss. :( "
This is a textbook case of bait & switch. This company claims to sell a software product which will unlock my phone, but once you purchase the software, they inform you that their software no longer works and they attempt to lure you into purchasing an alleged "hardware solution" for even more money. I have requested a full refund from the company & lodged a dispute with PayPal.
