On 4/20/12 Friday I received an envelope in the mail from www.canadapost.com in the envelope was a letter stating that I was chosen to participate in a survey and a check for $2400. I thought to myself are you serious this is awesome, all I had to do was “Cash” the check, Make a wire transfer of “$1800” through Western Union, Pay the “$150” service fee, Go to “K-Mart, Wal-Mart or Best Buy” and spend $150 on anything I want in the store. Then, I was supposed to contact my coordinator by phone “they provide the phone number”, the coordinator was supposed to give me the name of the person which to transfer the money and my Representative ID. After I complete the survey I could keep “$300” of the check.
Tried to Cash the check & the Banker said it's a fake. I took the check home & did some research, they didn't leave me website. They had an e-mail & #. I e-mailed them & called the # (looked like this #1-647-831-2371), when I dialed the # a pop-up on my phone said "Check Call Restrictions-56"
So the Banker was right it's a SCAM...Don't let this happen to you or anyone that you know ;) Let's inform everyone about this..
