We were told that we would recieve 20 nights free accomodation within Australia, New Zealand Asia and Canada at there selected hotels for $220. We would also recieve these nights accomodation in the form of pre paid vouchers which were transfereable and would expire after a 2yr period. We recieved our paperwork on this 3 weeks later and our 10 day cooling off period had expired by then although they specified that it would start from the date we recieved this information. In our package we recieved food vouchers our username/password information to access there website for more information and bookings. We still til this date have not recieved our accomodation vouchers as they slipt a note inside our package paperwork saying that they had none printed at this stage and they would get them couried to us immediately, they have not. We then went to book our accomodation in bali thru them at one of there qualifying hotels and they said we would have to pay $450.00 each night for that and that the initial $220 was to recieve great discounts not a nights free accomodation....We than asked to speak to a manager however there is only a complaints officer who didn't get back to us for 48hrs and was very rude, stated that Hotel Bargains never agreed to this arrangement we were obviously given the wrong information and she would look into investigating this which would take 1 week however its been 2weeks and no reply. Due to the nature of this scam and the lack of trust we have in them now i am sure that if you did go thru and book and pay your "discounted rate" you still wouldn't have any accomodation booking at any hotel so they just rip you off again!!!
