Darryl & Company was hired to repair fire & smoke damage to my home. This damage is from a kitchen fire which happened January 21, 2011. Darryl Epps claimed to be a contractor in the Atlanta, GA area. Mr. Epps demanded upfront monies of $4,317.73 which he received on April 06, 2011 used to order material and supplies and start rebuild and repair. drawer, which he received on April 19, 2011. Darryl Epps informed me that my kitchen cabinets would take 15 days for delivery, they took 30 days to delivery. In the first 10 days of that 30 day period Darryl Epps tore up my kitchen, dismantled my wall mounted oven, my cook-top stove, my kitchen cabinets and than preceded to remove the framing of the doors and windows and removal of all the light fixtures in my dinning room, living room, and foyer, which he painted along with two upstairs rooms failing to repair damage to the walls.Then demanded another $4,357.73
On May 12, 2011 Darryl Epps Requested $500.00 additional funds for more materials. Upon receiving these funds, Mr. Epps left for two weeks, claiming a family emergency. When Mr. Epps returned from this family emergency, he demanded another payment which he was refused due his lack of accomplishment in the repair of my home and the damage in did to my home. Upon my refusal to pay him anymore monies, Mr. Darryl Epps walked off the job and refised to be contacted by phone or otherwise. My home is finally being repaired by a pleasant, and most of all, honest contractor.
