The date above is the date that I filed complaint with the company. This data overcharge has been taking place over a 2 year period. I have copies of bills going back 14 months-reflecting more than the above amount. I don't have copies of bills going way back to the beginning of my contract so they can say I am wrong about those bills - but I am sure they have detailed records going back to the beginning of the contract. I have heard excuses from their reps such as 'it's a third party charge', 'someone must have gotten ahold of your phone & subscribed to that', 'you must have accidentally texted, emailed, 'unknowingly subscribed to chargeable data'. Insinuating - 'you're an ignorant customer like all the rest and I know it - AT&T is always right because we're big and we know'. I ended up closing my account with them. I and my 89 & 90 year old parents now have no cell phones.

In addition to overcharge I was not receiving my voice mails. Example: Last Friday my mother called me. That voice mail appeared on my phone late Monday morning. That has happened often.

No company should get by with wrongfully charging their customers like this. I can see that if they are doing this to others they are making a huge amount of money on this.
