Like others I have had problems cancelling my membership from this site. However I may now have success .....maybe! I rang the number (02030516661) which I found tucked away on the site and pressed option 3 ‘all other enquiries’. IF you press ‘2’ for cancellations, a pre-recorded message tells you to go on the site and ends the call. Note: it says you can only ring between 12noon and 3pm UK time.
However after pressing ‘3’ I spoke to an American sounding woman who took my email details and user name and said she had now cancelled it. She claimed the site only showed that I had deactivated but not cancelled my membership. She claimed that the button to press to cancel was showing no sign of being pressed i.e. there was no evidence that I had tried to cancel!! I told her I had tried on numerous occasions and was sent in circles and this was simply ‘not true’! I also wrote to Robert Wuttke (the alleged MD on his Facebook page ..with no answer..)She didn’t argue with me and claimed it was now cancelled. Note also the email address that might work (most don't ) seems to be [email protected]. That'd 'be'2 not 'b'2 ..another tricky detail! I hope this helps some others who are at their wits end with this site.
