On 4/10/2012 I went online to Experian.com and thought I would try their credit tracker program; 1.00 trial for 7 days, then 17.95 if I don't cancel within 7 days. I clicked on the yellow button that said 'Get your credit report and score. It said 'welcome to credit tracker', option (learn more) or (no,take me to my report) I clicked the latter. Suddenly I saw all three credit company reports! I thought, I didn't see that in the offer but okay, great. On Friday the 13th, I looked at my e-bank account and saw they had taken $31.95 out as well as the $1.00!! I immediately called them about it. The woman told me I signed up for a '3 bureau credit report' and that I chose that option AFTER I signed up. I said "You show me where I had that option." She told me I wouldn't be able to see it now because I had already signed up and gone past it. She was suspiciously quick to say she would refund $17.00 back to me and my membership would only be $8.00 starting the 17th. Feeling like I might not get anything back otherwise, I agreed to it.I calmly insisted that she send me an email stating that she would do that. She said they never send emails stating a refund, but she would email me a statement saying that my fee would be $8.00. She also said it would be "several weeks" before I would see my refund. I have received no email from them.

Update: 04/15/2012

They took out the $31.95 on the 4/11 which was the next day after I signed up.

Update: 04/16/2012

Well, right after I made my complaint, they did refund my $17.00. Happy to report that!
