PayPal/eBay International AG payment for $79.30

Like many others I have just received a Paypal payment advice for $79.30 to eBay International AG. I regularly buy and sell on eBay, but this month I have not sold anything so I wasn't expecting any fees.
I checked my Paypal account and this amount had not been deducted, and I noticed the sender email address was slightly different. The receipt had a link if I wanted to reverse this transaction, and when I clicked on the link a page displayed requesting all my personal and financial information, which I was not prepared to provide.
I Googled Paypal scams and all these other identical instances came up, so I contacted Paypal and they confirmed this is an scam.
DO NOT PROVIDE THE INFORMATION REQUIRED ON THE FORM TO REVERSE THE TRANSACTION, AS YOU ARE PROVIDING CRIMINALS WITH ALL OF YOUR PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE SO CONTACT EVERY FINANCIAL INSTITUTION YOU LISTED (BANK, CREDIT CARD ETC) AND FOLLOW THEIR ADVICE TO PROTECT YOUR FUNDS.
I will be interested to see if this amount comes out of my account, but I think it is doubtful as it appears to be our data they trying to trick us into providing!
