I received information from this law firm that they could help me reduce the payments on my mortgage. I was NOT delinquent at the time, just struggling. Derek Smith convinced me that their firm could reduce my payments so I should stop paying the bank. After taking my $3000 they have done NOTHING to help me. I have reported this firm to www.preventloanscams.org and am preparing to report them to the California Bar Association. Whatever you do, if you get information from these people, run as fast as you can in the opposite directions. This firm is nothing but a scam. Derek Smith is a very charming LIAR!!!!
Update: 04/18/2012
Derek Smith has contacted me an assured me that the Realty Law Firm is trying to help me settle my differences with the bank regarding my mortgage. I will re-post the outcome of the situation.

- Dear Blksand, I am very glad to hear that you are going to testify against this law firm. They did absolutely nothing to help me. I put up that second post under duress from Derek Smith. He fed me a lot of lies telling me that the firm was going to refund my money and that I would hear from one of the attorneys soon. That was 3 months ago. I have listed my home as a short sale and moved into an apartment. I hope your testimony puts the lawyers of this firm where they belong-in jail! Good luck to you.

- Same to you ! I made a vow to Tracy Lee that I would do everything I could to see that they were exposed. I wrote to every News Agency and communications source I could find. He told me that he was "tired of wasting his time talking to someone who would never understand what he was (lying) about. They are having a hearing next week to see if the Attorney will agree not to go to trial. I hope he refuses because I want to see his face. California has a fund for victims to be refunded the money they lost. You can find it on the State Bar of California web-site. I wish you the best...
