I found a “POLICE OFFICER” job opening for the Kwajalein Police Department. Just so you know...this is a little island 4,300 miles south-west of San Francisco out in the Pacific Ocean-NEAR GUAM. The island itself is 1.5 sq miles AND CONTROLLED BY THE US ARMY. . Per the sheet of paper I got when I did my application, we have about 1,200 US Citizens on this "missile base"....yea you got it...a MISSILE BASE...THAT'S WHY THEY WANT YOU TO GET YOU TO GET "SECURITY CLEARANCE".

I applied. The "recuriter" guy was all hot for me to get my paper work done fast so I could go over and work (the recrutier is in Alabama). I spent about 20.00 in postage sending them EVERYTHING THEY WANTED PAPER WORK WISE...Then they read my medical history and found out I have HIV (since 1985!!!) it IS NOT A PROBLEM! IT HAS NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM AND THE LAW IS CLEAR WHEN IT COMES TO THIS-YOU CANNOT USE THIS AS A MEANS TO NOT HIRE A PERSON...because that's what the e-mail said today and he "recruiter" in Alabama said, "the army won't give you a waiver"....geezzz who is hiring me? the Army or the Police Dept????

I worked my whole career with it in LOS ANGELES with it. The law is clear in the case...I am covered by The Americans with Disability Act...yet in 2011 I get an "e-mail" I am told I WILL be de-selected by the "army" because I have HIV...these people were not even shy about this---it was IN YOUR FACE! One has to wonder now if those web sites TALKING about THE ABUSE AND MISTREATMENT OF ISLANDERS by this company and "police department" out in the pacific is true! Certainly, when they do this to a US Citizen Right here in the USA in some E-mail. BE CAREFUL WITH HIS COMPANY AND THIS RECRUITER IN ALABAMA. It has problems for sure...
