I placed an order on Feb. 10th, 2012 for 13 Units of Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF201 PC TABLETS with Deniz Umut with Ucuz ltd, on Alibaba.com, that conducts business from Turkey. Our order was to ship Monday Feb. 13th, 2012. However, no shipment was made. We were informed they would go out Tuesday, but no shipment was sent. Again, the order was to go out Wed. Feb 15th, 2012, but nothing still. Each time we were told items had been delivered to DHL but there was always a problem. As the week goes on, Deniz Umut agrees to either send our order out or refund our money, but we now have no contact with him after continuous emails and chat requests using Trade Manager. We are now in the process of conducting a criminal investigation with local and International authorities concerning the theft of our funds by Mr. Deniz Umut and his associates. The following individuals are involved with Deniz Umut conducting transactions through Alibaba.com. Deniz Umut, 25 beliogul sokak, Istanbul, Turkey Kelvin Dauda Idomeh, 230 Tepebasi Beyoglu, Istanbul, Turkey 34270 IBOK ANIEK SUNDAY, Istandul, Turkey Company names: Ucuz ltd & En-Ucuz ltd

  • Possibly, I was contacted by Merdez Alkan of Cimri, but our order was placed with another individual that's list above in the complaint, Deniz Umut/Ucuz ltd.

  • After replying to these posts, I notice now that Kelvin is the western union receivers name in Ucuz ltd payment option.... So there is a connection with Ucuz ltd & Cimri.

  • Did this guy try to get you for multiple charges (shipping, customs insurance ) at differing times during the transaction ? Did he also have a pity pity when you asked for a refund ?

  • Yes, small payment first, then something comes up requiring more $, and then taxes, VAT, customs... RED FLAGS ! A real sales person would have known
    about all these things and told there customer beforehand.

    It seems that these people may be stealing the identities of some legit businesses. One of the sites that this sales rep said he works for responded to a message that i sent them stating "No we don’t know these people. We don’t work with these sites.
    Sayg?lar, iyi çal??malar." The sales persons name ' s may be made up, the payees name i think is one in the same.
