Back in 2014 we worked with Sal “Scum Bag” Cacciato, CEO of Web Direct Media, who currently also works as director of sales at Personagraph, NY to help him sublease his space and in return he agreed to pay us a commission as his broker. Our agent found him a quality sub-tenant who has been paying the rent regularly and on time. The first payment from Sal was due in April 2014 and although we have strenuously worked to create an easy payment plan for the amount owed he now ignores all emails, calls and letters from us. Essentially, he stole this money from a 74 year-old broker, who did a great job saving Sal from personal liability and a financial obligation by finding him an excellent replacement tenant. Once he had what he wanted he left us and our agent hanging out to dry. The only way we get reimbursed for the endless hours spent on a leasing transaction is by collecting a commissions, and when a certain scumbag refuses to pay per commission agreement, a broker doesn’t have the means to pay their bills. This guy is a first class scum bag and can not be trusted!
