Botters bother both OSRS and RS3 players for too long time. They break the fairness of game play; they loot quite a number of drops with nothing to do; even they farm a great deal of runescape 2007 gold to sell although not all runescape 2007 gold sellers are botters, at least RSorder has received highly praises. Many people suffer from botting and want to get the banned. If there is a notification for the bot report, the reporters should be happy and inspired.

An idea to notify a player a ban for the botter he reported

For example, someone reports "BotScum123" for botting, because he saw him cutting Elder trees lots with no talking, and his only leveled stat is woodcutting. A week later, a pop-up notification from Jagex says that, “BotScum123 has been permanently banned for use of macro, thank you for your report!” it is quite uplifting!
To make things simple, it would be an automated system, where each account has a record of all the reports. But not all other accounts are botters in Runescape, and even not all rs 07 accounts on sale are unsafe. Some people buy 07 rs account on RSorder and claims that it works well now. So don’t blindly make a report or jump to a wrong conclusion.

Two places need a further improvement

With no doubt, once this suggestion is passed, it would add an incentive for players to report other players. But this suggestion is not that mature, and the following issues need to be improved:

1. Should the amount of reports a week is limited? There is a dispute for this issue. If it’s no limit for the amount, the reports could probably be abused and heavy to break down. But a limit would dampen players’ initiative. People need a notification confirm themselves that they have helped making this game safe. So to limit, or not to limit, it’s a question!

2. Can just an automated system make this project work well? To be honest, bots are not removed on the basis of a single report, so the notification cannot be sent to players at once. Only after investigating may such a notification can be given. Besides, abuse reports would be sent in as well, and it is hard for the macro reply to distinguish them out of real bot reports.

It is a good idea to make the community better, but it still needs a future consideration. Jagex doesn’t give a definite answer whether this suggestion is feasible yet. But it may take a longer time to see it. Life goes on. It’s said that free RS 2007 gold giveaways are held on RSorder currently. It may be helpful you.
