Besides, since the Slayer helm bonuses will only apply on boss tasks that can already be assigned as slayer tasks, if you're not on a boss slayer task, you will be at a major disadvantage to those who are. It will be easier to get crashed and players will have a much less chance of doing more damage to the boss than someone who is on task will. It will become inefficient to boss at all while not on task.

In addition, what’s interesting about slayer is that it forces players to kill monsters that are tricky or just plain hard to kill, so players either have to figure out a method of completing the task of spend slayer points to skip it. Boss slayer task consisting of any boss removes this aspect. It would be more slayer-like if they assigned you a specific boss, forcing you to learn how to efficiently slay it or you have to skip.

While considering the above problems, some players expected that Jagex can rewrite the Dev Blog and find out more potential in slayer. Originally, most of players support for offering a slayer master, who can limit the amount of daily available tasks, or provide tasks to kill special boss rather than kill any boss.
