paid to have household items shipped door-to-door from my home in Virginia to my home in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

I paid nearly $1,000 to insure everything only to discover that this money was NEVER conveyed to the insuring agent.

When the shipment arrived in the port of Santo, São Paulo the port authorities would not release the shipment until payments were received. These payments had already been paid to Fastway Moving but now they are with holding this payment and I was forced to pay the port authorities to release my items. There was a total of 13 additional families with their household items in the 2 shipping containers. All families had no choice to pay twice to get their items.

The owner of Fastway Moving is a brasilian. He has offered to right things for the 14 families but we only continue to receive excuses for what is going on at this point. Brasilians love to take advantage of people to maximize their financial gains and love to make excuses.

The personnel at Fastway Moving CANNOT be trusted nor believed at this point.

My shipment finally arrived and only minimal breakage had occurred but since I didn't have insurance everything broken was lost. This was the second time I used Fastway Moving Services and probably will use them again but I suggest using extreme caution with them.
