Sent money to Joe via WU to a supplier in Turkey for the purchase of medicine. We exchanged texts via the number 804-592-6679. He was initially very kind and agreed to deduct the $32 shipping and handling charge when I realized that WU charged a $50 fee. After the money was picked up, I was sent a tracking number which led me to a private courier -- EMS Couriers a/k/a EMS Medical Couriers -- requesting an additional $500 for "refundable insurance". Such an insurance product does not exist. There is no such thing as refundable insurance. When I contacted Joe again by text, I was very nastily told that I should have investigated this before placing my order. I said I did: I asked HIM. Moreover, the EMS insurance money is supposed to be sent, not to Turkey, but to Camaroon. BIG RED FLAG.
