contacted place of employment on supposedly behalf of American Cash, said it was an emergency. Reported he (Indian accent)was an attorney (retribution)stated amount I owed first was $431 then it went to $791.23 of which I can settle for $321.16 today. Could not tell me when, what or how I owed this money. I heard other voices in the background (similar to a call center) and I told him I could not hear him--he said, "I will call you back, I am in my cabin." He said if I did not pay today, Friday LEO would be at my job or my home to arrest me and I would have to spend 30 (thirty) days in jail. I called him back hysterical, and crying telling him I did nothing and do not know anything about what he is talking about. He told me to stop crying, 'just don't cry', 'I will talk to my partners to see what we can do for you. I was really scared and upset about this. Then I called the operator and asked about the firm 'Scott & Ryan or Rice Attorney's and learned there was no such firm in Ashland, Nebraska according to the operator.
