I was called at 1150 on 11/27/11 by Devena Morris from Grand National Sweepstake saying I was selected to win a chevy car, vacation, $25,000.00 and magazines for 60 months if I subscribe to another set of magazines for $3.79 weekly. I was told the $3.79 will not be taken out of my account weekly but every 3 months and my first payment will not start for another 3 months. I was also told that my order could be cancelled whenever I wanted to. My call was then transferred to Devena's supervisor Steve McMillian, who also said the same thing. Steve asked for a credit card. At the time I explained to Steve my credit card was not available. He then asked for a cancelled check. I read out to him all the numbers for the bottom of my check and check #837. Steve asked if I would answer 7 question which he gave me the answer to. A couple of days later I called the 800-851-8931 # that was given to me by Steve and another company answered the phone and had no idea of what I was taking about. I then called back the original the Devena called me from (251-458-6876), that young lady did not know what I was talking about. That's when I notified my bank and the police department to report the scam.
