I received a voice mail on my home phone from a private number stating that the caller was from the Department of Legal Affairs and I had pending legal action against me. First of all, the female's accent was so thick and heavy I could hardly understand the message and had to listen to it 5-6 times before I was able to make out what she was saying. My fiance was getting worried, but I am no stranger to this scam. Word to the wise people, if someone from a government agency calls you, it's most likely a scam. They do not communicate via phone call, they communicate via the good ole United States Postal Office or you are served papers via a court appointed process server. These people are trying to act so smart... First of all the heavy accents are the first dead giveaway this is a SCAM! Do not call back!!!
