On our way back to Texas from Mount Rainier National Park I traded in my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Diesel on a 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Diesel. I paid $55,515 for the new 3500. That truck didn’t have the power to pull our 5th wheel up a decent size hill. In less than 500 miles I turned around and brought the 2011back to the dealer. We agreed to trade back at no cost to me. When the dealer refused to return my $10,000 cash down payment I got to looking a little closer at the documents he shoved at me. He bought the 2011 back for $43,050 and kept the running boards, bed mat and new 5th wheel hitch I had installed. Another $2,400.
