Complaint 29202 Details Scan your bills for fraud

I signed up through BlueHippo Capital,LLC on 6/26/2008 for an intel pentium dual core processor E2180, 1 GB Memory, 160GB hard drive, 19 in Flat Panel Monitor premier Desktop Computer with a free digital camera and color printer. total cost was suppose to be 1,918.00 with a 320.00 mail-in rebate costing me 1598.00. They took 69.98 out of my checking account bi-weekly until on 10/20/2008 when they claimed that the payment was denied. It was not denied and I still have the bank statement with confirmation number showing they did in fact receive the money. I sent letters and my bank sent letters to them proving the payment was made. Since the computer I was suppose to receive was a Del computer, I called a Del salesman who informed me that the computer bluehippo was charging me for only cost a little over 300 dollars. I called bluehippo and told them that I was not going to pay over 1500.00 dollars for a 300.00 dollar computer and that I wanted all my money back. They told me that they do not refund money but that money would remain in my account and that I could purchase anything else I wanted from their site using the money on my account. So looked at what they had and was going to purchase a couple of things that totaled about 400.00 dollars, figuring the rest of my money would cover shipping, but when I went to check out, they want almost 200.00 dollars on top of what my balance was. I once again called them and told them what had happen and they said that i needed to pay the additional money if I wanted that stuff. I told them again that I wanted a refund, they hung up on me and I still have not been able to get in touch with anyone from that company yet. I do not have a way to put my papers in with this, but do have them if copies need to be mailed. my papers even have my account number with bluhippo on them.
