I sent a huge bag of name brand clothing in new and like new condition for resale. There were probably 25-30 items of clothing. I realized I might not get as much as I would if I sold my own items through a local consignment franchise but thought it was worth the trade off for the convenience. Thred Up sent me a statement today saying they would pay me $0.55 total for the items I sent. They claim only one items was sellable. They do not return items they deem unsellable so I do not have the clothing or any money to show for it. I wasn't looking to get rich, just to have some money towards more clothes for my kids. This is a total scam.
