As I was sitting and watching TV this night, I received a phone call from a woman who told me that I had ordered 5 magazines from this company on July 27, 2012. I was absolutely flabbergasted by this because I don't order magazines for the most part. Then, she began to tell me that the charge would be $39.95/month for 5 yrs. I kept telling her that I wouldn't have ordered that many magazines---especially for that amount of money and for that many years. She insisted that I had, and convinced me that I really had done such a stupid thing! I ended up giving her my check card number, and the first thing the very next morning, Treasure Coast Readers, Inc. took $79.00 out of my checking account! Since that time, I have received numerous bills from them, and I have even written them telling them that I did not intend to pay them a dime because what they did to me was done through fraudulence. Now, I am receiving phone calls from them telling me that they are going to turn "my account" over to a credit agency if I don't respond to them by such and such a date. All I want from them is to have them leave me alone!
