This is an ongoing problem: My employee is trying to get a loan modification. Chase keeps contacting me with questions regarding his payroll but never leaves a clear forwarding number, nor e-mails me with specific questions that I can respond to. Consequently, my letters to clear things up are never 'correct'. I found out today that their "computer program" doesn't allow for irregularities in payroll. Because we are a seasonal business, there will be irregularities that work themselves out at year-end, however, in spite of the obvious, this process keeps getting stretched out. Here is my question: is Chase using this as a way to extricate itself from loan modifications by forestalling until the deadline is past due, causing undue delay and hardship for its clients?
