I received a call today from National Credit Adjusters, stating that my account was placed with them for further action due to non payment of a payday loan that I never accepted. When I asked who the Company was with she said "Twin Bluffs Financial". I tried to explain to her that I never took out any payday loans??? I asked for her to re send whatever agreement/contract that I signed and for their address and phone # and she wouldn't give it to me. She got rude and pushy and I was told I owed $430.00. I just googled this company and found all this "scamming" details regarding the same scenario. What should I do now? I called my bank and the money was deposited but I had got paid and my christmas bonus and never even noticed the additional $250 that was put in there without my consent! Now they want to threaten me and demand I pay them $430.00 I NEVER agreed to accept anything from anyone? I feel scammed and like someone just committed fraud against me.
