I called to accept Verizon's $74.95 a month deal on internet and cable. The salesperson talked me into adding phone for an additional $5 a month. When I received my bill the actual amount for service was $99. After hours on the phone with Verizon (mostly on hold) the issue was unresolved. The first collection agency Verizon worked with did not accept the collection after I disputed the bill. The next collection agency Verizon went with persuaded me to pay $80 of the bill and said it was considered paid in full. Verizon then sent me a bill for the remaining $20 and threatened to send it to collections even though the debt was considered paid in full. I'm up for any class action litigation anyone wants to help initiate in order to stop these thieves.
