my boyfriend kept getting calls from a number we can not remember now, but he was not able to understand the message, he said it sounded like the person on the other side was talking though a pillow. but on June 1, 2012 he finally was able to understand the message and there was a man on the other end telling my boyfriend that he owed Preferred Platinum Pan 400.00 or he would be charged with Credit card fraud for a phone sex call center. All freaked out he called me, and thinking he knew what he was talking about i gave him my credit card and had him pay the bill. We thought it was all taken care of, when today i received something in the mail from Preferred Platinum Plan stating that i owed them 50.00 more. I called the number on the top of the letter and a man named Anothney answered only saying "customer service" he did not say his company name, or the usual " this call will be record for quality service purposes." I asked him about the letter and he said that my phone number was not recognized, and then asked that my boyfriend call him back. i handed the phone to him and without even saying his name Anthoney began talking to him with no problem. It was like i could have handed the phone to my father and Anthoney would not have ever known the difference. I then lost the call and my boyfriend called the same number, i have called many different customer service places in my life and with all of them a different person answers. But Anthoney answered again. He then said the the balance was paid. But why would i revive a letter saying I owed 50.00 more? I then took this on to GOOGLE and found from many sites that this is a scam. i would like to now shut this fake organization down and get my 400.00 back. Please help us.
