I posted a casting notice for 2 films I'm in the process of making. An "actress", Alyssa Belen , contacted me and told me to call her agents, Steve and Elena Humphries at Unistar Talent in Dallas,Texas. Alyssa Belen told me she wanted to be in my films. I contacted them and after several e-mails it was secured and Alyssa Belen confirmed she would be there to film on the agreed upon dates.
Unistar Talent also told me they had 2 other actors that would be great for my films, Bryan Hickey and Linda Arsenio. I either ignored or contacted the other actors interested in roles and told them they had all been filled and were not needed. A couple hours later Alyssa e-mailed me and told me she'd had a change of heart,that she was not going to be in my films any longer.
Then Unistar Talent contacted me and told me they had read 1 single complaint an actress wrote about me 10 years ago and that was what their decision was based on,Alyssa would not be in my films,nor the other actors. I've made over 30 films and worked with hundreds of actors and one single "actress" Elizabeth Regal was upset with me because she lied about her weight to me and I would also not sleep with her. I e-mailed both Alyssa and Unistar Talent and tried to work this out in a civil manner but they would not.This has held up my production now,costing me time and money. Now Unistar Talent is writing harassing slanderous things,like I'm "dangerous". As if telling the truth is dangerous.

The "actress" e-mailed me and confirmed she WOULD be there to film. I also got confirmation from Unistar Talent. These 2 unprofessionals deserve each other,they cannot keep their word or tell the truth,as far as I can tell.

It's obvoius that Mr. Hayden is distorting the facts with regard to this matter. On one post he states that he paid Ms. Belen and another he states he said he posted that it is a non-paying job. He can't seem to get his story straight.
The facts is, when we notified Mr. Hayden that our talent didn't feel comfortable working for him based upon information that was posted on Google, RipOff Reports, etc. he retaliated by posting derogatory remarks with regard to our Actress and the Company.
Our talent does not work for free and especially for questionable film makers. We strongly recommend that you do your research on this man before you do business with him.

If a talent agency is actually doing work for it's clients, there is no reason for it's clients to search for opportunities for themselves (especially through Craigslist). If you pay or sign a contract for representation, why are you doing it's work? This was a serious red flag for me, and also why I didn't understand the reasoning behind Alyssa defending Unistar (FRAUD) Talent when I initially read this complaint months ago. From my experience, around the time of this rebuttal being written , Unistar hadn't done anything for me since signing with them and paying them my $1,100! And I was already having issues contacting them... so whatever! Additionaly, within this entire year of me being signed to them, I've constantly been searching online for my own opportunities as well because they obviously aren't doing anything. This, amongst many other reasons explained on other complaint sites, is why this company is a FRAUD! And if you find you're own opportunity, off course their still going to take an certain percentage of your earnings! Some talent agency huh? Despicable!
"We recommend that anyone that responds to Craig's List acting roles due complete and diligent checks on the person prior to any personal contact as this can be extremely dangerous as evidenced by this episode." Please do the same with Unistar Talent and it's representatives! They can be very dangerous financially, since they take your money and don't return what was promised, like photos and comp cards. -
