we put a wanted ad on gumtree for a mobile phone and he contacted us by mobile. we agreed a price and he gave us his account details for the halifax bank..he said that once the money had cleared he would send the phone.
we didnt hear from him so put his name into google and lots of things came up about him scamming other people too so we knew we had been done.
we have reported it to our bank,the halifax,our local police ,nottingham police (where hes from ) trading standards and action fraud.
action fraud have said that the more people who get scammed by him that contact them to log it the better as they are in contact with the police too.

- As I am sure you are aware justice has been done on the serial liar and conman, Mark Anthony Hoodless. He is now serving 10 months for fraud, you can confirm this with Nottingham Crown Court on 0115 910 3551 quoting his name and case number T20127712. Well done everyone for standing up for what was right and ensuring he got what he deserved.
