I picked out a pair of frames and a pair of sunglasses on a buy one get one free deal. When I sat down to pick out lenses, the lady threw so many figures at me so fast that I had no idea what was going on. When she was done, my total was close to 400 dollars. I thought, okay, these better be worth it. They told me that my glasses would be ready in 7 to 10 days. After 15 days, I thought I'd call to see what was going on. I was told I'd recieve a call back by the end of the day. I never recieved a call. I called again a few days later and the same thing happened. I called again after about 20 days, again, I was told someone would call me back, this time, they actually did. I went in to get my glasses and everything seemed fine. When I got home, I cleaned my glasses with a lens cleaning cloth. It still seemed dirty, when I looked at it in the light, I noticed that the side I just cleaned was more scratched than my 4 year old lenses. Upon inspecting them, I noticed that the other lense had some sort of warp or bubble in it. They said to bring them back in and they'd fix them. I was told they would rush them and they'd call when they came in. Again, it took over two weeks. When I picked them up, they had fixed the warped side, but didn't fix the scratched side. They told me they could fix that right there in the store. Why couldn't they do that two weeks ago? When I got my glasses home, I cleaned them again, and again, scratched the hell out of them. When I called the store, the manager told me, "they weren't scratched when you left." I was irate. They said they would not give me my money back but they would fix them, again. When I called the corporate office, I got the same run around. It took days to get a call back, and when I did, I was told there was nothing they could do for me but replace the lenses. I am tired of bringing in my glasses to get them replaced with more crappy lenses. Right now, I'm stuck with two pairs of glasses that I can't wear because they are too scratched to see out of. The sunglasses don't seem to have the same perscription all the way through the lens. Bottom line is that Stanton Optical does not stand by their crappy product. I just want my money back.
