  • I also was scammed by Shoe Time Style or This Shoe Shows.com (they seem to use both names in my transaction). I ordered a $50 pair of shoes and received a disposable shower cap from China. Similar to Samantha's situation in the first post, they charged my PayPal account right away but never responded to my emails inquiring about shipping the shoes. Then a few days later the shower cap arrived. I filed a claim on line with PayPal immediately. PayPay sided in my favor but then told me I had to ship the item back to China at my expense! I came on line and did a scam search and found this posting. I just called PayPal based on what was recommended above by amommy and PayPal is now crediting my credit card the entire amount and I do not have to ship the shower cap back to China. I am so glad this was all posted on line. Thank you!

  • I found website www.mallagm.com tonight and just prior to completing my paypal transaction backed out as I had a horrible uncomfortable feeling, then I did some research causing me to stumble across this site. I decided to investigate mallagm.cpm specifically and found that the email address on the website, the address and the phone number were all invalid. Gmail told me that the email did not originate from them (the site emailed me) and I even called the number which is disconnected. But it gets more interesting. I discovered the website is hosted by godaddy.com. The websites that I saw listed above, many of them are also hosted by godaddy.com (you can easily find this by pinging the IP address) I discovered that the following websites are all listed under the IP address:
    15 domains hosted on the same web server as mallagm.com (212.117.182.80). cnbridaldress.com (linkback) mallagm.com (linkback) shake-golf.com (linkback) stylegoodyou.com (linkback) www.aashoesbaba.com (linkback) www.famousbrand-clothingandshoes.com (linkback) www.happy-ebuy.com (linkback) www.hongde-furniture.com (linkback) www.kelly-mall.info (linkback) www.lireplicahandbags.com (linkback) www.newsebag.com (linkback) www.pen-belt.com (linkback) www.theluxuryshoes.com (linkback) www.wallsmatter.com (linkback) www.xfyan.com (linkback)
    Here's what I decided to do. I reported this detail and the use of godaddy's servers for potential fraud to godaddy. I asked them to not allow their servers to be used to host this type of activity. I also reported the same to paypal.com. However, I went a bit further also. I discovered you can also file a complaint at www.ic3.gov (Internet Crime Complaint Center is a partnership of the FBI and White Collar Crime Center) receives complaints related to internet fraud so I did that as well. I encourage anyone else listing complaints to consider reporting fraudulent activity to this site as well as their bank and/or payment source (paypal).

  • Yes, the website is a scam. Instead of receiving a pair of shoes you could have received a shower cap or a hair net. Please call your credit card to be sure that they cannot use it. While you are on the phone with them, please, tell them the site is bogus and is stealing money from people. I wasn't smart enough to use my credit card. My payment was sent from checking account via PayPal.

  • I had the same problem. Even received the same shower cap. Paypal let me know that to get the refund I would have to return the shower cap. The shipment needs to be tracked so that they can determine if the seller receives it. I spent $38. to have sent from the post office express mail. Please check around to find out if this can be done cheaper. My opinion is that it's totally outrageous that PayPal has not one clue what I received. The only thing they knew is that I received something. No, the website has not been shut down yet. I am going to try my best to make sure that it happens. Good luck and please let us know when you get your money back.

  • From what I have seen on the Internet I don't think that's going to happen soon. I also had a problem with the website. Right now my goal is to find as many complaints concerning this website and make sure that the writer follows thru so that PayPal will also follow thru and put them out of business. I am sure not one person has ever received a pair of shoes from them.

  • You have to contact PayPal to get a refund. It's very important that you do this so that they will realize the number of people who have had problems with this website. I want to see that website go out of business! I am not a vindictive person, but when someone deliberately steals my money I want to be sure that it doesn't happen again to anyone. Did they send you anything at all? If so I hope you didn't throw it out since PayPal will ask you to return it them before you get your money back.

  • I received a shower cap from them which was returned a couple of days ago so that Paypal could refund my money. Paypal let me know that the seller indicated that he sent something which would have to be sent back before I would get the money. The only problem I had was that the post office said that the only way to track a shipment to China was to send it express which cost me $38. I was actually hoping that if Paypal realized the problems people are having from this website it would go out of business.

    My list is getting bigger and bigger researching these jerks by keywords and domain info.

    If you have ordered and
    -you are still within 1 week file a not authorized transaction -more than a weeks or two after file an item not received
    -they sent you some 10 cent crap (most famous a toy pen) in the mail file an "item not as described" claim.
    Contact paypal (their preferred method) or whatever you used to pay and tell them what is going on. Even if you file an item not received they will say they shipped your product, that is why they send you crap, CALL PAYPAL and tell them details.
    Keep the envelope and the pen for proof.
