I had the misfortune of running into these scammers. Here is the scam. once they get you to place your cell number in one of their websites, it doesn't matter if you complete the transaction or not, they snatch your number up and pass it around to their "affiliate" websites and you start to receive freaking advertising ON YOUR PHONE. Not email, Not text or SMS, those are too easy to block. they send notifications that open up into their website offer. No blocking that. All you can do is close it. I called sprint and they are going to attempt to stop this nonsense...
