Dear Customer

Thank you for you recent order. Please find your updated order details below.

Unlock Status:

We have been unable to obtain an unlock code for your phone using the imei number supplied. Although this model is generally un-lockable, there are instances where codes cannot be generated. This is due to unique phone variables and cannot be predicted in our preliminary report.
As an apology for this, we would like to offer you a full refund and a free unlock code for your phone as soon as one becomes available on our database. Alternatively you can use this for a different phone.

We would like to offer you a full refund for this and we offer our apologies for the inconvenience.
Refunds are usually processed within 48 hours, however please allow up to seven days for funds to reflect in your account.

If you have any issues please contact us by replying to this email.

We have offered some further advise below on possible options you now have.

Next Step

Option One

The most popular method of unlocking your phone from home is to use a software solution. This can often be free but can take some time and a certain amount of knowledge using a computer. Please be sure to make a full backup of your phones memory before performing software unlocking, as memory is often deleted during the process.

Much of this software can be used with the current USB cable that came with your phone, although occasionally you will have to obtain a special cable designed to aid in the unlocking process. If you would like any further advise on this option please contact us with your details and we will recommend the best course of action.

Option Two

Another option is to contact your provider directly. You may be surprised that they will offer you an unlock code for a very low price, or even free if you have had a contract with them for a long period of time. This is the fastest and easiest way to unlock your phone.

If your contract has expired or you have not been upgraded for a long period of time, providers are generally more willing to help you unlock the phone. Simply call customer support and they will be able to guide you through the process. The code will be sent by post, email or SMS.

Option Three

If none of the above methods work, your next option can be to take your phone to a local phone servicing store or market store. Although these places do not generally code unlock phones, they have access to equipment and hardware that can be used to remove the lock.

This method can take around an hour to complete, however retailers will not accept responsibility if the process damages your phone. Damage is an inherent risk during the unlock process due to firmware updating.

You can locate these services using your local telephone directory or by using the internet.

Pricing can differ from approximately $5 up to $25 depending on the model and the time it takes to unlock the phone. Although negotiating can always get you a better deal!

Option Four
.
Unlocking is also available from online retailers, although this is not generally as simple as entering a code into your phone. Many online unlocking services require you to connect your phone to your computer via USB and use an online server to analyze and unlock your phone (with a software option).

The processing time can range from instant to several days and these services can be found easily through search engines.

Costs involved range from a few dollars up to thirty dollars, however we urge you to shop around and get the best deal. This could save you a lot of money.

Option Five

The last option is great for the DIY minded. Unlock boxes and clips can be purchased to unlock your phone. Search for these on the internet and attach the box or clip to your phone, the hardware then unlock the phone for you. The benefit of these is that you can unlock as many phones as you please using one box. The option can therefore pay for itself quickly.

Unlocking boxes can be expensive however, so i you are not technically minded and do not have several phones to unlock we do not recommend this.

Kind Regards

Helen
