In July of 2010 after being laid off, we purchased auto coverage breakdown insurance thru Zingauto.com for a 6 year term and 180,000 miles after viewing the ad on tv. I researched the company as much as possible. At that time the BBB did not have enough information on the company. We elected to have the money debited from our account and we received an official looking contract in the mail. Last month, March 2012, the insured vehicle was in need of repair. I started calling the numbers that I was supplied. I was placed on hold and then forwarded to a voice mail. I was able to contact the towing portion of the plan. They had my information for that portion of the plan, but was unable to give me any other information on how to contact www.ZingAuto.com. Now, when I call the numbers I am being told that the number is no longer in service. According to my contract, Zing Auto has promised to cover the vehicle until 2016. Avoid buying auto coverage from programs not associated or backed by a dealer.
