The date above is only the last date that money was taken from my account, it has also happened on 3 previous dates.
I made the stupid mistake of purchasing "free trials" of 2 skincare products, revivagenix and purasilk, giving my card details for shipping costs. The products were advertised together but I made my orders separately and they arrived separately, within a day of each other.
I was charged £74.95 for the purasilk and £88 for the revivagenix, both around 2 weeks after the order, and without my knowledge. It turns out the samples are a "trial" which needs to be cancelled within 14 days or you'll not only be charged for the product, they will keep sending it to you and charging you for it. I've read an account that even those who have realised have not been able to contact purasilk to cancel their order, therefore having to cancel their card to ensure they are not charged. If only I'd realised.It was only when I was charged for a second time by both of these companies the following month that I realised I had been charged the first time! I still need to get through to purasilk who have now charged me around £150, and only after yelling and insisting by both myself and my boyfriend to a customer service telephonist on the number provided by www.healthstore-shop.com did they say they would refund me the full 2nd amount (take note they still got £80 out of me)- which I am waiting to receive. They tried to "offer" me half of this amount about 15 times before they agreed after speaking to my boyfriend.
So, please DO NOT order these products! You are signing yourself up for a contract and account you are not aware of. I have lost around £300 from ordering a free sample of some skincare after a couple of glasses of wine, and I will be lucky to get even half of that back! I feel like an absolute idiot of course, but if this post prevents it from happening to others at least something positive will come from my stupid mistake!!
