Back in November 2011, I got a call from 5 star; maybe I had asked for info online, looking for a way to make money online. They supposedly set you up as a crdet card processing company. They charged 295 to join and even reduced that to $195 AND said I could quit within 60 days with full refund; that was sort of a clincher for me, since no scammer had ever made such an offer. However, they sold me on the idea of buying leads through Aggressive Advertising. Five Star guaranteed 100 signups worth $500 each immediately, plus residuals in the 1000's monthly. Of course, Aggressive required credit card payment for their leads ($15,000). That's the big money. Additionallt, Tax Club contacted me claiming they were referred to me by Five Star. They sell various business services; indeed, they did get me registered with the state as an LLC, but I could have done that myself for just the registration fee. Tax Club's other services are just generic crap with your own business name inserted. I spent ca. 4000 on them before cutting off payment.

  • OMG! I am only out $4000. I cannot imagine that much as you are. I did report them to the New York Attorney General and they have a huge case against them. If you have not done this yet you need to join the case against them. I have been called and questioned by the attorney general and told there are multiple claims against them. I had the same problem, they referenced themselves with my Vianet group for a website and did the same thing, tried to get me to sign up for stuff which I already had through Vianet. I am going to have to file bankruptcy as they killed my credit and I could not pay it on my current salary. All I did was try to start a thriving website which did not happen. Go for it!
