I received a post card in the mail stating that if I went to this website that I could apply for a grant and use the money in anyway I needed. I then received a check for 956.28 on 3/29/12..under the check was explaining why I received the money and I would need to get a green dot card put 500.00 on this card for Lisa Procter
commission fee. The letter said that once cashed or deposited I would have 5 days for Lisa to receive her money, if I did not send this money after cashing/depositing then They would seek legal action for 100% of the money. Lisa stated after she received the 500.00 then the remaining 9,044.00 would be sent by air mail.
At the end of this letter it stated once I purchased the green dot moneypak I would need to enter the clinets ID# and then the moneypak #, I was to send all this information to either of these email addresses www.lisaprocter.biz or www.lisaprocter.net.
I went to Walmart to cash the check but was told I needed to call this 1-866 number, I then went to a local bank and the teller told me that this check was a fraud and should she had deposited this check into my account there would be a 7 day hold. And if before the check cleared and I had used the money then the bank would seek legal action against me even though Key Service Corp sent me the check.
Thank God he put a block in the way so I would not fall victim to this scam.
