My parents (age 70), while staying at an Ocean Canyon Property camping resort in Alabama, attended a sales pitch for a life time membership. They were shown a catalog that included sites in Florida, where they live. Once they went home they started reviewing their information and noticed the sites presented to them during the sales presentation were not in their catalog. They went back the next day and were told they were shown a 2010 catalog and those sites no longer exist. They are now trying to get out of their contract but are having no luck dealing with OCP.

- This standard answer from OCP is the reason their Better Business Bureau rating is an F. First, using old catalogs to sell memberships, knowing that significant locations have changed, does not fit the description that "all packages are explained in great detail." Second, we have contacted their "Member Services Department", which provides no help. Their selling tactics are unethical and there customer support line only provides broken promises that they will research your complaint and contact you with a resolution, which they never do. This is a very common issue with this company, which needs to be addressed immediately.

- OCP response as of 4/24/2012 is you should not believe or rely on anything their sales representives say. What a great company.
