They called on my lunch hour, which took the whole hour. I had company during lunch and it was hectic. The man said they would lower my interest rates on several of my cards for $499.00 it sounded good. They would send me an agreement packet to read over, fill out and sign. If I did not want their services I would have 30 days to ask for a refund. I received the packet, read it over and decided not to accept their services. I gave them a phone call on 12/7/11 and talked with a Joseph Bryan, Exec. Acct. Mngr. He tried real hard to talk me out of it and I was very serious when I told him "No Thank You Return My Money". He then said I needed to talk to the CEO John and he would call me. I did not receive a call back because I live in Alaska time zones also are a factor. I have called them over and over. On 3/2/12 I finally talked to JOHN and after a lengthy conversation, which in my opinion turned very ugly on his part, he agreed to refund my money to my credit card. He said "I would see it in a few days". That didn't happen, so I called again on 3/9/12 and talked a women, explained to her the situation. She insisted I talk to JOHN again who was on the phone and would have to call me back. I explained that would not work because of the time zones. I told her to tell JOHN that if I did not see the refund in 48-72 hours I was going to hire an attorney and left it that. She said she would give him the message and I should see the refund in 72 hours and that would have been at least on 3/14-15/12. Once again nothing and now they won't answer their phone. At this point I am very frustrated and I don't have the $ to hire an attorney. I'm a single parent who lives in rural Alaska. Is there any agency that is looking into this, has it been brought to the Attorney Generals Office or the District Attorney's to be investigated into? I'm thinking seriously about contacting Craig Howard on CNN and see what his kind of suggestions he would have. Any help would be appreciated and you could go ahead and call me a sucker, but I sure would appreciate the help or suggest who I could get help from. Thank You.
