They call for a political survey you answer 4 questions, then they connect you for your free cruise. Some guy tells you to check the website my2012vacation.com if you ask if they are legitimate. If you really wanted to book a cruise from the site, there is absolutely no way to do so. Not even a phone number or contact, but a really nice looking professional site. Check the WHOIS.net and other databases. NOT EVEN REGISTERED, which is unusual and a bit scary, how are they getting around not being registered on whois? Checked the internet archives, no history of website, ever. Again, strange for a business.
Then he comes back to the phone and asks me did I see the website, did I get my certified email. The email looks professional as well, and there is even license number. There is no business information for this company or website. Then he asks can I imagine myself at the places at the website, blah blah, I let him go on. I knew it was a scam from the beginning, but I wanted to see how smooth theses guys are getting. Pretty smooth. For some one not as internet savvy they would get taken. Checked the Florida BBB, listed as volshell golf cruises with a rating of F. 4 complaints not resolved and BBB could not located them.
