FRAUDULENT ONLINE RETAILER

I fell for this scam on 3/15/12. I placed an order by assigning them an Amazon gift card...a method that should have screamed FRAUD.

Although their website system was set up to show that my order was processed and then shipped, a tracking link was never provided. They continued to answer emails with assurances that the tracking info would be provided as soon as they received it from their supplier.

Once I googled further, I found that the street address at 300 Owen Parkway Circle, in Carter Lake, IA, (shown in MerchantCircle, where several fake reviews had been placed) is an EMPTY WAREHOUSE up for rent, and the phone number is apparently a fax number in Mammoth Lakes, CA.

Then I looked for the domain owner info and found it listed to an address just across the street from Amazon in Seattle, WA. In fact, GoogleEarth shows the sign over the doorway as an Amazon customer pickup dock. Coincidence? I think not!
